There’s always something brewing at SODZ! We meet at 7 pm every 3rd Monday from September through May, typically at a different local brewery each month. Our calendar includes various competitions—check out our Competitions page for full details.
Each year, we proudly take part in two major American Homebrewers Association (AHA) events:
- Big Brew Day (first Saturday in May) – A national celebration of homebrewing where we gather to brew together and raise a glass in unison with brewers across the country. This has been hosted by Columbus Brewing Company for the past several years, where we set up at their production facility on the Westside.
- Learn to Homebrew Day (first Saturday in November) – A great opportunity for beginners to see the brewing process in action and get inspired to start their own homebrew journey. Past events have taken place at local breweries and at Buckeye BrewCraft.
