TOM'S TIDBITS

by Tom Jones

OK, you bought a 5-gallon keg to enter the kegging world at the last meeting. Now what do you do with it? You need to buy a regulator, CO2 tank, hoses, etc. You have plenty of homebrewing catalogs, but you want to get your equipment sooner and at a lower price (you hope).

I followed the advice of our friend at Goodale Brewing Supply by going to Geer Gas at 829 Ingeside Avenue for the necessary tank, regulator, and hoses at a good price.

While on the subject of kegging, I suggest you take a look at the Zymurgy Magazine Summer 1995 issue and the article on "A Bottler's Guide to Kegging". The article is very helpful for a first timer. Another source is Brew Your Own Magazine; it has had some fine articles on kegging.
